Reflection on Digital Photography

I really enjoyed this assignment. I thought it was fun! I think that digital camaras could be really useful in a classroom, I think students would really like to do something with them. It would be a fun way to put a twist on a boring assignment. I really liked learning how to use the comic program. I think that program has a way of making everything more interesting. Students love comics, so I think they would really enjoy looking at the math pages we made. I know that in my future classroom I want to use a digital camara for things. After all...a picture is worth a thousand words!

Website Evaluation

I thought evaluating websites was very helpful. I have never done this before, and it was a good eye opener. It is very important to know if the website is up to date, good vocabulary is used, who the author is, and if facts are correct. A website must also have good organization, easy to get aroung, and be pleasing to the eye. While I was doing this I came upon many websites that were extremely difficult to navigate, and I ended up just looking for one that was easier to use.

By doing this assignment, it has really made me aware of what kinds of websites are out there. In my future classroom when we use websites, I want to make sure they are good, safe, and easy to use.
